Marino brings to Sligo a true originality touch by the way he plays various percussions. Originally a drummer, he plays rhythm over Irish melodies on his bodhràn, the traditional Irish percussion, but he also uses a Spanish cajon or a djembé, in order to bring different colours to Green Erin's music. Though Sligo is Marino's first Irish music experience, he's now completely addicted and happy to be on the boat, to everyone's pleasure.
